1890 | From 1890 - 1941, Numerous schools were built in Eritrea, specially in Asmara. but lessons are given only in Italian, there was a formation of class and the elite are placed in the colonial administration. The consequences for the natives are catastrophic: <> The broad population is living on without any primary school <> at the same time the colonialists are showing their behavior of dominance <> Eritrean men and women are only given jobs as servants for the "colonialists" There were only few school offered to Eritreans for a very limited amount of knowledge to learnt, such as hygiene and glorification of the colonialists.
